Carrie T.
I am semi-retired and recently moved to Okotoks from Campbell River to be closer to my son. We bought a house together and I love my home. I have my own lovely bright suite downstairs. My son works full time, so I cook his work meals for him and do some baking. We enjoy healthy eating options such as organic, natural sugars, gluten and dairy-free choices. I am eagerly hoping for grandchildren one day, as I love kids and enjoy being around them. I am currently looking for a part-time job in retail, as I worked at JYSK in Campbell River for the past 2 years. I enjoy helping people and in my spare time, I like baking, cooking, sewing, macrame, rebounding, taking long walks, and spending time with my son and friends. If I were to find the right job caring for children, I would not work in retail; I would commit to childcare if financially possible. My ideal job would be caring for children after school until the parents are home, during the day when there is no school, and when parents need time for themselves.
single mother, I raised my son to adulthood. loved being a mum! I was a big sister for a young girl through the kidstart organization in Campbell River, BC volunteered at my church looking after children while the parents were listening to the sermon. Baby sat my nieces many years ago.
