Katelyn M.
I’m a 21-year-old Sociology student at Queen’s University, and I’ve always had a passion for working with kids. Growing up as a competitive dancer, I developed a love for the arts, which I’ve carried with me into various jobs, including teaching dance at a summer camp. I’ve been babysitting for years and enjoy building connections with children, whether through creative activities or simply spending time together. I’m mature and responsible but also easy to relate to, which helps me bond with kids and create a fun, supportive environment. Family and connections are incredibly important to me, which is why I’ll be spending my summer in Oakville. I love seeing kids grow and thrive, and I’d be excited to bring my creativity and nurturing nature to a nanny position.
I’ve been babysitting for seven years now, and during that time, I’ve had the chance to watch so many kids grow up. I also worked as a dance teacher at a summer camp, where I got to help kids tap into their creativity and have fun with movement. I absolutely love working with kids, and it’s been such a rewarding experience to form long-term connections with some of the families I’ve babysat for over the years. Watching the kids grow and develop has been one of the best parts!
