I am the youngest daughter of a retired maternity nurse who instilled in me a wealth of knowledge about breastfeeding, as well as infant, child, and adult care. I am also the younger sister of a talented interior designer and skilled cook, from whom I’ve picked up some valuable culinary tips. I am a proud mother to an incredibly bright son and the wife of a kind and loving husband. In my home country, I practiced law for over a decade, but since relocating due to my husband’s job transfer, I’ve been seeking a new career path. I’m eager to find a role that not only provides financial stability but also allows me to give back to the community that has embraced us so warmly. I’m able to communicate in 3 languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish. Maybe in a few years I’ll add a fourth language in my list.

I’m a proud mom to a 6-year-old boy who was born prematurely and spent a significant amount of time in the NICU. That experience taught me so much about the unique needs of newborns, and I’m happy to say we’ve overcome the challenges of prematurity together! Before becoming a mom, I helped raise my little cousin from birth until he turned 5. He’s now a young adult in his 20s, but those early years gave me valuable hands-on experience with childcare. Later, I worked as a part-time babysitter for three siblings in my condo building. My mornings were spent getting them ready for school—preparing breakfast, dressing them, and putting them on the school bus. In the afternoons, I would welcome them home, help with bathing, prepare dinner, and spend time playing with them until their parents returned.
