Cathleen D.
I'm Cathleen, a North Vancouver resident with a passion for nurturing and caring for children. With five years of childcare experience working as a camp cabin leader, program assistant, first aid attendant, and helping out with my niece and nephew; I am knowledgeable in the care of children of all ages. Having grown up in a large family myself, I possess a deep understanding of familial responsibilities and dynamics and know how to keep a household running smoothly. Additionally, I'm also an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking and camping and have a variety of other interests such as piano playing, reading, writing, crafting and baking. I am available throughout the week from mornings to evenings and on Sundays during the middle of the day and evening. Pleased to assist with a number of tasks, from cooking and doing laundry for children to running errands and helping with homework. Being a dog lover, I'm more than happy to help with any furry family members too. I am comfortable working with children of all ages with the ability to manage two children at a time. I'm a university graduate with First Aid and CPR training as a part of my skill set. I'm seeking a live-out, part-time (or possibly full-time) position as a Nanny. As an organized, hardworking and enthusiastic individual, I'm ready to start immediately. I'm looking forward to helping your family, and, more importantly, providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for your children.
I have worked at a summer camp for the past five years and have cared for children in both a cabin leader and first aid capacity. I have also helped out with the care of my niece and nephew.
