I'm Angela Maria and I live in North Vancouver with my husband and our two children. I am a caring, responsible and creative person who really enjoys spending time with children. I love outdoor activities such as going to parks and nature walks, as well as reading stories, making crafts, baking and participating in fun and educational games. These activities not only keep children entertained, but also help them grow and explore the world around them in a meaningful way. As a professional with over 12 years of experience in psychology and education, and as a mother myself, I bring a deep understanding of child development, empathy and a calm, caring approach to each family I work with. I am excited to offer families in Vancouver not only childcare, but a safe, engaging and loving environment where their children can thrive.

I have over five years of experience working with children, including one year in Canada and five years in Colombia, in roles as a nanny, teacher and as a psychology professional for over 12 years. Throughout this time, I have provided enriching care and meaningful support to children of various ages, always focusing on their emotional, cognitive and social development. My training as a psychologist and educator has allowed me to apply evidence-based strategies, such as Montessori inspired methods and some other strategies to foster independence, learning and creativity in a safe and engaging environment. In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mother of two children, which has given me valuable insight, patience and adaptability in childcare. I am confident that my combination of personal and professional skills makes me well prepared to support Vancouver families with high quality, developmentally focused childcare.
