A bit about myself: I am 19 years old with my own license and vehicle for transportation. I can provide a criminal record check upon request and have a clear driving record as well. I have 5 years of childcare experience, including helping to take care of my younger siblings and cousins, taking childcare development courses, completing babysitting courses, working as a daycare assistant in high school, and working with multiple families over the past 4 years. I have also done tutoring. In 2021, I received a "Youth Appreciation Award" for my volunteer work. I am certified in infant/adult first aid CPR/AED, have completed foodsafe level 1, and am currently enrolled at JIBC taking EMR/Paramedicine training. I am artistic and creative, and have been doing custom paintings for the past 2 years. I love the outdoors and sports, having played League soccer and softball growing up, and I can play basketball recreationally. I have been cleaning for the past 3.5 years, starting at a local hotel, daycares, and many clients' residential houses and commercial offices. I can provide my own supplies or use yours, and everything I use is chemical-free, environmentally friendly, and pet-friendly. Children have been a part of my life from an early age, and I am passionate about helping them grow creatively and succeed in every step of their development.

My experience in childcare professionally started when I was in high school, volunteering at multiple daycare centers as a student helper. I have taken child development courses and have also participated in summer fun camps for 2 years as a youth leader. I would also babysit for my family friends' children and my own family members, as I come from a big family on both of my parents' sides and am one of the oldest siblings/cousins. After high school, I continued childcare on a part-time basis, working as a professional nanny and housekeeper under "Sparkling Nanny Services". I have experience working with children aged 18 months and older. I also have experience in deep cleans, mother's helper, green cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, house management, and pet care. I have worked with many great families over the past 2.5 years on a short-term, part-time basis, but I am now looking for something full-time as I finish my coursework at JIBC and have more free time. I am very passionate about the well-being and growth of every child. Some activities I have done in the past include hands-on engagement in Montessori learning activities, puzzles, color sorting and teaching, open/close activities, motor skill activities, building, sensory play, musical fun, arts and crafts, teaching life skills, and engaging in outdoor sports and activities.
