Taelyn T.
I am a professional career nanny with extensive experience caring for children from newborn through 10 years of age. I am currently completing my Birth and Postpartum Doula certification through Doula Canada, allowing me to further support families during the newborn stage with evidence-based knowledge while continuing to provide exceptional childcare as children grow. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages, abilities, and personalities, including those with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and neurodivergent needs. I believe every child deserves to be understood, supported, and encouraged in a way that celebrates who they are. My approach is patient, compassionate, and tailored to each child’s individual needs and stage of development. I thrive in busy family environments and am experienced in balancing the many moving parts of a household. Beyond providing attentive, engaging childcare, I take pride in helping keep the home running smoothly through children’s meal preparation, school and activity transportation, maintaining routines, light household management, children’s laundry, organization, and creating a calm, well-managed environment that allows parents to focus on work or simply enjoy more quality time with their family. I am passionate about fostering learning through everyday experiences. Whether we’re exploring the outdoors, creating sensory activities, reading together, completing age-appropriate crafts, encouraging independent life skills, or simply following a child’s natural curiosity, I strive to make every day meaningful, engaging, and fun while supporting important developmental milestones. Above all, my goal is to become a trusted extension of your family. I believe the foundation of excellent childcare is built on trust, consistency, open communication, and genuine connection. I want every child in my care to feel safe, loved, respected, and confident, while giving parents complete peace of mind knowing their children are receiving attentive, nurturing, and professional care. As I continue my education in birth and postpartum care, I look forward to bringing an even greater depth of knowledge and support to the families I work with. Whether you’re welcoming your first baby, navigating life with multiple children, or simply looking for an experienced, dependable nanny, I would be honoured to become part of your family’s journey.
I’ve worked with infants to children 8 years old. I have experience with all children and some experience with children having learning/developmental delays as well. I’ve done everything from diaper changes, bottle cleanings, tummy time, creative and active play indoors and outdoors, arts and crafts, swimming, day adventures, driving for school drop offs and pick ups as well as to extra outside of school activities to meal prepping, general house cleaning, laundry and family errand running.
