My name is Jamie, and I recently completed my diploma in sustainable architecture in Montréal, and have now moved back to North Van. I am fluent in English, German, and know some Spanish. I grew up in 4 different countries (Germany, Mexico, USA, Canada), and have met many different family dynamics, which has helped to adapt to different settings! I love spending time with my friends, going to the beach and hikes, and basically everything nature related. When thinking of what I would like to do as a career, childcare or architecture were my options. As I chose architecture, nannying is a way where I can also fulfill another passion of mine! I have had a wonderful time with every kid I have taken care of, and have learned a lot about patience, communication, and kindness no matter the situation.

I have been caring for children age 1 to 10 for the last 8 years, but have had one primary family for the last 2 years with newborn twins (who are now 18 months) and a 3 year old. It has brought me an immense amount of joy watching these kids grow up. I have learned a lot of the past few years how to be patient and calm and kind with children, and providing a safe space for them.
