Paula J.
I am a responsible, driven, and caring individual with a strong interest in working with children. I have been in French Immersion for 9 years, which has helped me develop strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to support children in both English and French. I enjoy creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. I am very hands-on and adaptable—I can help with homework and studying, offer tutoring in math (grades 1–6), English (grades 1–8), and French, and find fun, creative ways to keep children engaged, such as playing sports, doing arts and crafts, or interactive games. In addition to childcare, I’m always happy to help out with household tasks in general. I enjoy being helpful and can assist with things like preparing meals, tidying up, organizing, and walking pets if needed. I take pride in being dependable and attentive, and I always prioritize children’s safety, well-being, and happiness. I am patient, positive, and easy to communicate with, and I aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. My goal is to not only provide care, but to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun.
I have informal childcare experience through babysitting for family and family friends. I’ve cared for children of different ages, helping with activities such as supervising playtime, preparing simple meals, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. I am responsible, patient, and attentive, and I always prioritize children’s safety and well-being. I also offer homework help and enjoy supporting kids with their learning in a fun and encouraging way. Even though I am early in my childcare experience, I am reliable, quick to learn, and committed to providing high-quality care.
