I'm Rebecca! I'm 24 years old and newer to the Ottawa area. I moved here to try something new, and experience life in the capital region! I love to get outside for walks and hikes, or just to sit and relax in the park. I have a cat whom I love, but grew up with dogs and am just as happy to give them attention as well! I'm fairly crafty, and love to crochet, paint, and collage. Alongside caring for kids, I'm a great baker, good cook, and excellent at keeping things tidy! I'm eager to add to my experience working with children while lending a helping hand to families in the city!

Working with kids is my passion and I have been lucky to experience a variety of positions caring for and working with kids! I have experience running children's birthday parties and day camps in a 'kids spa' where we played games, did crafts, danced, and nurtured children's confidence and friendships. I have also worked in a school environment with first grade children assisting in literacy and math primarily - here I also worked one on one with children on the spectrum. I have experiencing babysitting for pay on evenings and weekends when I was a teenager, as well as more recently looking after my younger cousins. My experience is primarily with children aged 4-10, but I am familiar with infants and toddlers as well.
