Bella M.
I go by Bella ❤ I’m 22, and besides my passion for connecting with children and supporting their development, I really have a zest for all things creative and expressive!! Art and the outdoors are my main philosophies with child care/Teaching. I believe connecting with yourself and the world is really important and I like to encourage meaningful play that the children lead but I assist by implementing experiences for them to explore these interests. For fun I read, a lot about phycology and alternative health practices, I knit, take care of my plants, cook & bake and I like to go for nature walks with my cats!!! I have no problem cooking for your family or helping around the house, would like to find a position where I can really lean into my natural maternal instincts
I have been studying early childhood education and plan to pursue my bachelor's in child development soon. My love for children began while helping raise my youngest brother with my mom, who was a single parent throughout my childhood. I naturally fell into the role of caregiver, being the eldest sister to four boys, ten years older, an experience that prepared me well for my future career in early childhood education. After high school, I delved into this passion professionally by working as an assistant in a preschool classroom. Within two months, I was appointed as the main caretaker of an amazing little girl with suspected autism at the age of three. This experience sparked my love for organizing activities and incorporating daily routines to meet the specific developmental needs of children. I was later promoted to lead in the classroom and recognized by the Ministry of Education as the lead ECE educator, receiving appropriate compensation for my work. Now, with a lifestyle that allows me some time for my own home, I am ready to return to work. I am seeking a one-on-one environment where I can fully connect with a family and attend to their needs. I have experience working with children of all age groups, holding a deep love and respect for each stage of development. While infants may not be the age group I have worked with the most professionally, I have nurtured my own family and assisted my mother and eldest cousin during the early years of their children's lives. I am calm and capable when it comes to caring for children, allowing them to guide the flow of our interactions. I am comfortable with any number of children in my care, as long as I feel confident and at ease with my responsibilities. I am open to one-on-one care with a single child. Additionally, I am experienced in managing behavior issues, handling laundry, cooking for the family (including parents), cleaning, transporting children to activities, and packing for outings.
