Brianna M.
My name is Brianna! I am an EA in Holland Landing who is interested in supporting children with special needs. I have a passion for helping others, and thrive to ensure that everyone I work with is able to achieve the best quality of life. I have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, Anglemans Syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, speech impairments, learning disabilities, down syndrome, mental health, epilepsy, diabetes, etc.
I have worked with children for more than thirteen years. I grew up in a home that had a home daycare in it, and spent my whole child and teenage life surrounded by children who I helped take care of. As a preteen and teenager, I babysat for numerous families. I graduated from college with my Developmental Services Worker diploma (DSW), and worked in supported living homes for two years where I supported adults with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs. After that, I became certified as a Registered Behaviour Technician, and began working in an ABA clinic with children with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. I have worked there for the past five years supporting individuals from 18 months old - young adulthood. I currently have a supervisor position where I oversee children and youth with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, etc. I have a passion for working with children, particularily children who require additional support to achieve the best quality of life.
I graduated with honours from Georgian College with a Developmental Services Worker Diploma.
