Asya B.
My name is Asiya and I’m an international student in Canada. I’m studying psychology at Douglas College and have been working with kids for many years. I worked as a voluntary art teacher at a summer camp for multiple years and I did a summer internship with this place called Reach Bahrain where we taught special-needs kids how to cope and how to do daily tasks. I’m also very independent so I know how to clean and cook. I can take care of kids for multiple hours and overnight if needed depending on my schedule. My only current restrictions are my school classes, which are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
I’ve worked with special needs kids as an intern to help them learn to regulate behaviors as well as teach them basic things. I’ve been an art teacher for a couple years at a summer camp. I’ve worked with loads of children and have experience with how to understand and help them.
