I am a friendly and hard-working Early Childhood Educator and have numerous years of experience caring for and educating children. My ethnic background is Filipino-Canadian and my family and I have lived here for 28 years. I grew up in Burnaby and took a couple classes at Douglas college where I learned a bit about Business, Psychology and the Spanish language. I received my Early Childhood Diploma at Vancouver Career College where I studied this program for about 1 year. In my spare time I like to go to the gym, dance Zumba and do some kickboxing for fun and fitness! I also like to cook healthy and nutritious meals with plenty of vegetable ingredients and protein. I'm very interested in health and nutrition and believe in the natural way of maintaining good health without the use of so much pharmaceutical drugs. I believe that raising children with good morals and values should start in the early stages as a foundation for their future careers and relationships. It is important to instill in them a love for learning while they are young so they can aspire to do amazing things in the future for themselves, their families and the next generation.

I have an extensive experience in working with children in the years of infancy, toddlers and preschool age as an Early Childhood Educator for 8 years. The last center I have worked at was Jolly Step Early Learning Childcare where I worked with preschool children for 1 year. I facilitated a program that allows them to learn through an environment of play and educational activities where they are able to learn numbers, letters, science, art and do fun physical activities outdoors. I have also worked as a nanny for some time during Covid for about a year and have experienced working with children under 8 years old. I value the development of children in their early years and I hope to work in collaboration with the parents and families to meet the concerns and needs of your children in your lovely home.
