Hala A.
I'm Hala, a dedicated caregiver located in New Westminster. With five years of hands-on experience nurturing children between the ages of 3 to 10, I am committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that fosters child development. I'm currently in my first year of bachelor's studies at UBC and have undergone CPR training. This offers me the capability to handle emergency situations effectively to ensure your child's safety. My objective is to secure a part-time position as a nanny, babysitter, nanny/housekeeper, nanny/tutor, mother's helper, or virtual babysitter. I am adept at cooking, light housekeeping, running errands and grocery shopping. I can also prepare nutritious meals for your children, launder and iron their clothes, help with homework, uphold special dietary rules, keep the kitchen tidy, and look after pets. My tasks can extend to managing family laundry, supervising household staff, organizing events, and maintaining overall household cleanliness. I work best and am most effective with a maximum of two children at a time, to ensure they receive the appropriate attention and affection they need. It's important to note that I am unable to work with children with disabilities, which is a limitation I disclose upfront to mitigate any potential misunderstandings. My availability spans Monday through Saturday mornings, starting from the 1st of May, 2025. I prefer a live-out arrangement to ensure a separation from my personal and professional life. Your child's happiness, growth, and safety are my primary goal, and I look forward to building a relationship with your family soon!
I have been babysitting since I was in middle school, whether it was my own younger siblings, children of family friends, or the neighborhood kids.
