Ana Paula M.
My name is Ana. I'm a very organized and responsible person. I love DIY projects, puzzles, nature, and a beautiful blue sky! I have over 10 years of experience caring for children in the USA and Brazil. I have an open work permit, a Class 5 DL, a valid Food Safe and First Aid certificate. I took the First Aid Class at St. John Ambulance Saint-Jean in BC and obtained a Responsible Adult certificate. I had the privilege of working with the Rosen Family for 5 years in California, USA, taking care of 3 kids. Additionally, for 5 years, I had an amazing opportunity in Brazil to work at Christian School Aprender e Viver as a Teacher Assistant in kindergarten. I am a person whose priority is respect and love for others. I believe that everyone should have a dignified life, surrounded by people who have compassion and who always transmit joy. That's why I believe I'm the right person to be part of your team.
From 2005 to 2010, I worked as a Babysitter/Nanny/Caregiver in Manhattan Beach, USA, for the Rosen Family. I supported all of the family's needs by providing light housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, and organizing rooms), organizing and scheduling family programs, managing finances (paying bills and grocery shopping), managing medication, communicating with doctors, supervising elementary children to ensure their safety while playing, providing companionship and emotional support to the family, and supervising all employees in the household. From 2015 to 2020, I worked as a Teacher Assistant (in Kindergarten and Elementary School) at Christian School Aprender e Viver in Curitiba, Brazil. In this role, I organized classroom and teaching materials, diapered and fed infants and toddlers, warmly welcomed children and their parents, ensured the safety and well-being of children in and out of the classroom, worked with individual students and small groups, reinforced students’ learning with lessons and methods developed with the classroom teacher, helped build students' social skills, emotional skills, and self-esteem, offered encouragement to help students integrate into the classroom and school community, supervised activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor activities, assisted with children’s personal care, observed students and shared observations with the classroom teacher, and supervised students on field trips and during activities in school gyms, labs, libraries, and resource centers.
