I'm Komalpreet, a dedicated and passionate child care professional with one year's worth of remarkable experience. I am currently living in Nepean, Ottawa. I've been in Canada for about 5 years and embarked on my journey as an international student. My studies concentrated on Early Childhood Education, a field that I'm deeply passionate about. I'm also bilingual, speaking English, Hindi, Punjabi and a bit of French, which I'm continuously learning.
In the past, I've had the opportunity to work in a daycare in Montreal. During this time, I worked closely with children from various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschool and school-aged kids. My responsibilities involved a range of activities from overseeing breakfast routines to engaging in educational activities such as singing, reading and counting, in both English and French, and even outings to the park. In addition, I have done volunteer work at church events.
I am seeking to work as a nanny, babysitter, Nanny/Tutor, Nanny/Housekeeper and/or an Early Childhood Educator (ECE). My ability and willingness to travel for work unless relocation will come as an advantage. I’m available to work full time all week including evenings at your convenience.
Being a non-smoker who cannot work around smoke, I ensure a safe, nurturing environment for your children. My exemplary skills in light housekeeping, meal preparation for kids, children's laundry, helping with homework and event planning compensate greatly.
Despite not having children of my own, I hold experience and comfort in working with children between the ages of 1 and 5, with a maximum of four kids at a time. I gladly offer assistance in tasks such as bathing and dressing children, keeping the kitchen tidy, ironing children’s clothing, and more. Even more, I am capable and willing to work with children with disabilities.
My academic qualifications include First Aid Training, CPR Training and College Child Education Courses among others. I own an ECE license, and I have a clean police check record.
