Amanda P.
My name is Amanda, blessed mother of three, certified in early childhood development, registered Doula, having 10 glorious years of experience in childcare as a Day Home provider. I am passionate about nurturing and educating children, available to work seven days a week, during mornings, midday and evenings. My training has equipped me with beneficial knowledge in handling newborns and children over 10 years, and I can efficiently manage a maximum of three children. Understanding the importance of each child's individual needs, I am also competent in working with children with disabilities. My certifications extend to CPR and food safety, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children under my care, as well as being a keen meal planner, I enjoy dishes that are tasty and comply to dietary rules including vegetarian, kosher and lactose-intolerance. Proud to maintain an orderly kitchen and carry out light housekeeping, I strive to provide a clean and organised environment for the children. As an enthusiastic believer in the benefits of outdoor learning, I love taking children out for park trips where they can explore nature and learn from it. A gardener at heart, I enjoy involving kids in gardening activities which I believe fortifies their appreciation for nature. My vivacious, outgoing personality combined with a deep-rooted responsibility makes me an ideal candidate for your family's unique needs. I am officially certified in both Elderly Care Training and as an Infant/Toddler Educator. I hold a Bachelor's degree and have completed College Child Education Courses. I am actively looking for a full-time position, optionality either as a Babysitter or a Home Daycare provider, adhering to a live-out arrangement. Ready to start immediately, I can't wait to become an integral part of your family's daily life.
I have several years of childcare background I used to do Day Home with my mom for about five years at then I did Day Home by myself for about five years. I also did shift work for a police officer and a registered nurse. I did overtime evenings for them as well working with their schedules, I now have three children of my own have taken some time away from that and would like to get back into it. We’ve moved to our new house in Morinville and I’m excited to start getting to work with little kiddos again. I am also registered Doula so I have lots of experience with children.
