Charlotte M.
I am an enthusiastic, caring, and responsible person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I am patient, attentive, and able to stay calm and handle stressful situations when needed. I love keeping children engaged through fun activities, outdoor play, sports, arts and crafts, and educational activities. I also enjoy teaching and helping children learn, and I am happy to assist with homework and tutoring when needed. I understand that every child is different, so I adapt easily to their personality, interests, and needs. I can be fun and playful while also being firm and setting appropriate boundaries when necessary. I am reliable, organized, and attentive to safety, and I always aim to create a positive, comfortable, and supportive environment where children can have fun while feeling cared for, heard, and respected.
I have 2+ years of childcare experience with children ages 4–12. For two years, I regularly cared for my cousin (ages 4–6), including school pick-ups, meals/snacks, outdoor activities, bedtime routines, and overnight stays. In summer 2024, I cared for two children (ages 8 and 12), organizing activities such as the zoo, aquarium, trampoline parks, gymnastics, and swimming, while also helping with homework and bedtime. I am currently a Master’s student at McGill with a strong background in science. I enjoy outdoor activities, sports, arts and crafts, and making learning fun. I can tutor a wide range of subjects, including science, biology, math, English, and French. I am French-American and speak both French and English fluently. Overall, I am responsible, patient, energetic, and attentive, and I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and feel comfortable.
