I’m a Registered Nurse from Nova Scotia who recently moved here and am currently working on strengthening my French skills while looking for a nursing position. I’ve always had a huge passion for caring for children and would love the opportunity to babysit children of any age. I’m a pediatric and neonatal nurse with experience caring for children and newborns in a variety of settings, including the IWK Pediatric Medical Unit and NICU. I also worked as a camp nurse at Brigadoon Children’s Camp, supporting children living with chronic illnesses. These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, safety, medication administration, and responding calmly to children’s individual needs. I also have experience caring for children with complex medical and developmental needs and understand the importance of creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable and cared for. I would be happy to work with families looking for someone with a healthcare background and a genuine love for working with children.
