I am a mother to a beautiful daughter, who is now 23 years old, and I am engaged to be married. I raised my daughter as a single mother. I always enjoyed caring for her and her friends, as well as my nephews. I have always had a love for children and had a big family of many cousins. As a teenager I began babysitting for family. Later, between post-secondary semesters, I worked in childcare facilities in Halifax, Nova Scotia, such as the ones that my daughter attended when she was young. More recently, for the past approx 20-25 years, I have worked in the arts and entertainment industry.
