I grew up as an only child in Montreal, bilingual in both English and French. Both of my parents are the oldest among their 5+ siblings each. Over the years, as more and more family members have expanded their own families, I've been surrounded by a lot of younger children. I absolutely adore kids and the feeling is often reciprocated. Being closer to their age, I find it easier to connect with them and establish a rapport. Once a connection is established, children are more likely to listen and heed advice. Currently, I am a college student heading to a university in Ontario this fall. One of my favorite pastimes is reading, which, due to my fluency in both languages, has truly been enriching. On weekends, I work as a tutor for primary school students. I am seeking employment for the upcoming summer break, preferably a steady weekday job. I grew up as a single child but the oldest cousin in my family. I have many younger cousins, all of whom I often babysit. I have experience with children from 12 months old all the way up to teenage years. I can just as easily take care of your little ones as I can give the right amount of discipline and stimulation to older kids. I have not a few paid babysitting jobs and I am now looking to further my experience.
