Eloise M.
My name is Eloise, and I am a 22-year-old dual Canadian and American citizen currently living in Montreal. I am completing an Honours Science degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and I’m excited about the opportunity to support your family as a nanny. I bring a strong background in childcare and lifeguarding, with over seven years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages—from newborns to pre-teens—in both structured and private settings. I spent six summers working at Winding Trails Day Camp as a counselor-in-training, open water lifeguard, and Red Cross–certified swim instructor. There, I taught swimming lessons and ensured the safety of campers aged 3 to 13, making multiple water rescues and developing a calm, confident presence in emergency situations. I’ve also babysat extensively and have cared for children with varying degrees of autism, providing personalized and attentive support. Growing up with two younger brothers (one nine years younger than me), I’ve always taken an active role in caregiving and have developed a natural ability to connect with children across different ages and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, compassionate, and genuinely love building relationships with the children I care for. Beyond my childcare experience, I’m passionate about travel, culture, and learning. I spent three months last summer living in Manila, Philippines, while completing a research internship. This experience deepened my independence, adaptability, and appreciation for global perspectives—values I bring into my everyday life and interactions. I love to swim, read, visit museums, explore new places, and try new cuisines. I’m naturally curious, thoughtful, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for the children I work with.
