Bridgette B.
My name is Bridgette, a friendly, energetic, and dedicated 25-year-old woman with a passion for caregiving. I come from Prince Edward Island, which gives a hometown charm, but I have a deep love for the bustling exuberance of Montreal city, and was so excited to have the opportunity to move here in April of 2026! Having been the oldest sibling in a large family of five, taking care of kids comes naturally to me. I have a broad 10-year experience in diverse settings, starting from newborns to children up to 18 years of age. As a testament to my dedication to this field, I have pursued a range of relevant certifications, including First Aid Training, CPR Training, College Child Education Courses, and Special Needs One-to-One experience. Aside from my professional experiences, I also possess a vibrant and multifaceted personality! I love to immerse myself in creative activities like writing, poetry, singing, drawing, and painting. I'm also an avid reader and was even part of regular story time sessions at my local library during my younger years. Besides that, I am a total animal lover with three cats at home, which makes me adept at pet care too, and my wonderful husband is in school to be a vet assistant, so I'm learning new things from him every day. As for my working hours, I'm pretty flexible and available from morning till night on most days of the week, and the occasional overnight. My expected start date is anytime after mid-April of 2026, and I'm seeking a full-time, live-out nanny position. While I focus heavily on the care of the children, I'm also capable of managing a variety of household responsibilities like cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, and grocery shopping. Adhering to the children's dietary rules is second nature to me. With a limit of two children at a time, I put my all into ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether you're looking for a nanny, babysitter, mother's helper, or a nanny/housekeeper, I guarantee open communication, positive energy, and excellent care. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and experiences align with your needs. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.
I have worked in a variety of childcare positions, from newborn to 18 years old. I have also worked with large and small groups, as well as one-to-one. I am also a certified youth worker. Being a youth worker means I possess many up-to-date certifications, including trauma-informed care, First Aid and CPR for newborn+child+adult, food and safety, WHMIS and ASIST certifications, among other things. Previous to working as a youth worker, I worked as a substitute teacher, in daycares, and as a one-to-one respite worker with kids from 6-14 years old, and I enjoyed my time during a school placement where I provided classroom support in a French kindergarten class.
