I’m a kind, energetic, caring and down to earth 38 year old woman. As a Préposé aux bénéficiaires (PAB), my focus has always been on making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. While my experience spans both childcare and eldercare, I am especially passionate about supporting children, families and helping them thrive during critical stages of their development. After a successful career in marketing and executive administration, I chose to transition into healthcare to follow my lifelong desire to work directly with people in a meaningful way. This career shift allowed me to pursue my passion for nurturing, supporting, and creating positive experiences for children, the elderly and individuals living with various cognitive or physical disabilities ensuring they grow in environments that foster their emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. In my work with children I focus on creating an enriching, safe, and positive environment for the children I care for. I work closely with families to ensure that every aspect of care supports their child’s developmental milestones while respecting the family’s values and routines. My goal is always to empower children through meaningful activities, routines, and a caring, trustworthy relationship. With over 26 years of babysitting experience and a background as a certified préposé aux bénéficiaires (with 6+ years of experience), I bring a deep understanding of child care, along with a strong foundation in providing compassionate, high-quality support to children and families alike. I am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a safe environment for those under my care. Since 2022, I have been working as a dedicated childcare provider, currently caring for a 2-year-old child. My role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe and nurturing environment. Key duties include: * Providing compassionate and responsive care to enhance the well-being and development of a 2-year-old client, supporting their overall growth. * Creating and maintaining a secure, stimulating environment that fosters learning, exploration, and healthy emotional development. * Assisting with personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, diaper changes, and grooming, while ensuring comfort and hygiene. * Preparing and managing age-appropriate meals, ensuring feeding schedules are followed for optimal health. * Designing and leading engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development. * Maintaining detailed records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations to track progress and provide insights to parents. * Effectively communicating with parents to provide updates on daily activities, developmental progress, and any concerns that arise.
