I am Andrea, a 25-year-old woman originally from Mexico currently residing in Montreal. I am blessed with the skills of three languages - English, French (very basic), and Spanish, with Spanish, my mother tongue, being my strongest. Growing up, I always had a nurturing instinct. This was mirrored in my personal life where, as the older sister of two girls, I naturally assumed a lot of responsibilities. I also had the privilege of living with my beloved great grandmother for a year, during which I provided her care after my family moved to another city. Although I don't have any professional work experience in care-giving, I am no stranger to looking after the needs of others. I have spent valuable time volunteering at a retirement home, where cooking healthy meals, ensuring the cleanliness of their rooms, and providing them company were my daily tasks. Moving forward, my family and I are planning to move to Coquitlam around April. In terms of availability, I am quite flexible and can work throughout the week, including weekends, at any time of the day to suit your needs. While my experience with children range from newborns to pre-teens, I am comfortable working with a maximum of three children. My ideal work environment is one where I can fully utilize my range of skills. I am interested in roles such as Nanny, Babysitter, Nanny/Housekeeper, or Mother's Helper that allows me to contribute in diverse ways - from cooking, light housekeeping, running errands and grocery shopping, assisting with children's laundry or ironing, helping children with their bath and dress routines, keeping the kitchen tidy, offering pet care, and even planning and organizing events. I am a non-smoker. On a personal note, I absolutely love dogs and I have an inherent passion for cooking, especially baking. Cleaning is a household task that I take in my stride, thanks to my years of cleaning up after my two younger sisters. I am a woman with a big heart who feels called to serve and care for others. It would be a joy for me to provide the nurturing and attentive care that your children deserve.
