I am from Cape Town, South Africa and moved to Montreal with my wife for her career. I am vibrant, adventurous and love to make people laugh. I have always loved children, and hope to have a big family of my own one day. I studied Sport Science, or Kinesiology, at Stellenbosch University until 2019, and then decided to do a year of volunteer work in 2020 where I did care work for children in hospital and in orphanages, amongst other tasks. In my Sport Science degree, I had an elective of sport with children with disabilities. I am not an expert, but I am able to help with basic tasks and have a lot of compassion in my heart in this area. I am very active and have a lot of patience, so I don't mind entertaining children or taking them out to play in the park. I was a field hockey sport coach for about 4 years, and worked exclusively with school children teaching the hockey teams. I loved this time of my life and training with those teams is a big highlight in my life. I am English speaking, but attempting to learn French - it is taking time but hoping to get better over time.
I studied Sport Science in South Africa and had subjects dealing with sport and children, as well as sport with children who have disabilities. I attended practical classes, as well as lectures on these subjects. I have been involved with social responsibility initiatives involving children, including volunteering with children, teaching children, entertaining children and caring for children. I also worked as a Sport Coach for several years.
