I’m Edie, here to bring some extra support, care, warmth and routine to your family. My babysitting style is a kid-lead approach, where I provide the practical support, safety and ideas-bouncing for adventures, down time, creative and imaginative play. I am tall, kind, have an Australian accent, I don’t know the latest TikTok’s but I do know facts about nature and how things work, enjoying indoor and outdoor activities, appreciating the seasons. I have some experience with newborns, but I am more more experienced and comfortable with ages 18mo - 12 years. I can provide references from my most recent family (two kids who are now 3 and 5), who I worked with on a weekly basis for 3 years in Melbourne, Australia. I’m queer and I use they/them pronouns, so some family-friendliness with this with be a bonus. I have a license and CPR/First Aid training, and can provide housekeeping, meal prep and pet care. My rate starts at $20/h. I’m flexible and highly available through the summer.
