Sarah K.
I am quite a fun person from England based in Hochelaga. I like making things (knitting, sewing, drawing etc.) I also love reading lots - my own books and also picture books to children. I love music - both my parents are musicians and it is in my bones so I like singing and playing instruments with children. I love being active with my friends and I love finding new hobbies to do. I think this is linked with why I love working with children so much. I love their minds, I think they have wonderful curiosity which I share and I am always excited to play a new game (I also have the patience to play the same one again and again and again!). During the summer vacation, I am working as an ESL teacher but my days end at 2pm so I have afternoons, evenings and weekends free and once school term commences again, I will be substitute teaching during the week but still retain my evenings and weekends. Please let me know if you want any more information, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I have been a primary school teacher for the last 5 years in England. I have worked with children in schools and in a babysitting/ nannying capacity for nearly 15 years including working in nurseries with babies and toddlers. I am caring and fun but I am also fair and firm when I need to be which helps children learn boundaries and feel safe. I have finished the government francisation course so my french is also pretty strong.
