I am passionate about empathetic, engaged caregiving and have experience caring for newborns, toddlers and preteens, in a nannying and tutoring capacity. I graduated from McGill University with my Bachelors in Sociology and English literature. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and am teaching myself French. I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and am the oldest of four children (so I have babysat for a long time). I am a Canadian permanent resident and enjoy outdoors activities (especially in the summer!), art, reading and writing.

My experience in caregiving and tutoring began the moment I became an older sister and has continued well into my adult years. In addition to babysitting, I have trained to be a camp counselor (so you know your kids will never be bored!), have volunteered organizing children’s theatre and have tutored children from ages 6 and up. I have also volunteered as a caretaker at a Mexican orphanage, caring for up to 20 children at a time with my colleague (so you know I’m comfortable caring for more than one little one at a time). I have also babysat in the greater Vancouver, B.C area and can provide local references upon request. Available weekdays after 5 pm ( although, if needed I could potentially re-arrange for 4 pm); weekends open
