It is a true pleasure for me to write this letter for recommendation for Robyn, who had worked as my parents' primary caregiver for a year. Looking after a couple with chronic medical illnesses was a challenging task, but Robyn handled it like a pro. Robyn is compassionate by nature and is always positive about things. She remained calm and in a state of constant caregiving" even when my parents were difficult to deal with. She is a great listener and was adamant about finding ways to keep my parents comfortable, occupied and happy at all times. Given her background as a Recreation Coordinator, she was very skilled at coming up with stimulating activities such as baking bread, chair exercises, walks in the park, sing-a-longs, Geography and other brain games. She also provided activities that my parents could enjoy together such as listening to inspirational stories and watching lectures on their favourite subjects. During the time Robyn spent working with my parents, she provided them with much needed nutritional support and also helped with errands and housekeeping.
