My name is Harriet. I am sincerely thrilled to be presenting myself to you and providing you with a brief overture of who I am and what I do. In my life, I've been chanced to gather a multitude of experiences, specifically in child care. Most of my experiences encompass taking care of youngsters of diverse age ranges. This spans from newborns, to toddlers exploring their surroundings, to pre-teens learning about their environment and adapting to social, physical, and emotional changes. This depth of experience also extends up to teenagers, carefully guiding them through their transition into adulthood. I’ve walked hand-in-hand in the fascinating journey of adolescence, subtly steering them through the challenges of establishing their unique identities, responding to peer pressure, and facing academic demands. I am humbly hopeful that this brief introduction provides you with a glimpse of my extensive experience in child care. I grew up babysitting my niece, nephews, and children around my neighborhood my whole life. This consists of taking them from home to school, preparing meals for them, performing daily activities such as changing and feeding them, and keeping them active and occupied.

I am 22 years old, in my final semester at McGill University studying political science and history. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and while English is my first language, I am also fluent in French. I love to read, write, make art, play the piano, and spend time with friends and family. I love spending time with kids and worked as a babysitter throughout middle and high school. Because it is my last semester, my class schedule is lighter than usual, so I'm looking for some part-time work. I have been babysitting children of all ages since I was about 14 years old (I am now 22), mostly for friends, family, and neighbors. I have watched kids for multiple hours, on a one-time or regular basis, ranging in age from 1 to 8 years old, in both French and English.

My name is Naomi, I am 30 years old, and I am French. I live in Montréal, Québec, but I'm originally from Rennes in Bretagne, a region renowned for its traditional crêpes or galettes and its salted butter caramel. At university, I studied Psychology (unfortunately only for 1 year), but I would like to go back to college for a bachelor's degree in English. I have a lot of babysitting experience as I have been taking care of children since I was young (10 years old). First, my little brother, and then small contracts with individuals. In addition to my studies, I worked with a babysitting agency and was a home nanny for several years. I also worked in an association that helps migrants, where I took care of children. From August 2023 to June 2024, I was an au pair in Canada (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Province), taking care of a 7-year-old boy. I am still on very good terms with this family. If you are interested in my profile and would like to know more about me and my babysitting experiences, please feel free to reach out to me. P.S: Please excuse my English, which is not excellent. I started babysitting at the age of 10 with my little brother. Then, growing up, my babysitting network expanded thanks to my mom's colleagues who had children and to ads posted in my neighborhood (bakeries, supermarket, etc.). I do some occasional babysitting for lots of families. Then, when I was old enough to do so, I enrolled in a childcare agency (Kangaroo Kids). There was Jad, 9 months old, who I kept for a few hours on weekends. I had to change his diaper, give him a bottle, and make him take a nap. Then there were 9-year-old Dylan and her little sister Oummou, 1 year old. I kept them for a few Wednesdays and some evenings and nights when their mother was not there. I helped Dylan with her homework, prepared meals for them, and took them to play in the park. They were a very religious family, so I had to check that Dylan was praying and reading verses. It did not bother me at all, and I learned about their religion. The third child I took care of was little Remy, whom I kept for a year and a half, from the age of 3 to 4. I took him to school, we played, drew, painted, and watched books and documentaries about sharks and octopuses because he was a fan. When his parents came home late, I had to shower him and have him have dinner. After that, I took care of a little girl named Mayssan, whom I kept from 6 months to 2 years old. I had to take her to and from the daycare, feed her, prepare her bottles, and later on, feed her proper meals. I also took her to play at the park and play with dolls. After Mayssan, I kept twins Simon and Louise, who were 1 year old. I had to feed them their bottle and meals very carefully because they were allergic to several products. We went to the park every morning, then back home to eat, followed by nap time. After the twins, I kept Capucine from 8 to 10 years old. I picked her up from school Monday to Friday and stayed with her all day on Wednesdays. I took her to classical dance, GRS, and horseback riding. I also helped her with homework and prepared dinner every night because her parents worked a lot. On Wednesdays, if we had time, we went to the movies or shopping or had a snack in town. I also took care of Brune, 6 years old, for a year, and Jahden, 2 years old, for a year. For Brune, I picked her up from school, helped her with homework, as she was just starting to learn to read. For Jahden, I watched him all day, and my mission was to help his parents teach him to go to the bathroom by himself, but it was not always successful. I also worked with children and adolescents in centers that housed migrants. I helped the children with homework and worked on their French. I also helped parents with administrative procedures and learning French. From August 2023 to June 2024, I was an au pair in Canada, specifically in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I took care of a 7-year-old boy, with whom I am still on very good terms. I miss that family a lot.

I'm Sofia! I have recently moved to Canada from Bristol, England. I'm currently on a 2 year work/holiday visa and looking for some part time work alongside exploring the city and volunteering. I'm 26 years old. I grew up in Cambridge with very fun, artistic and outdoorsy parents and two fantastic loving siblings. We had a great combination of spending a lot of time at camps and outdoors but living in the city with access to amazing museums and schools. I mainly liked art and drama growing up and went on to do an illustration degree in Bristol, where I lived and worked for the last 7 years. I moved to Canada for a new adventure! I'm currently living in Mile-End with 2 lovely housemates. We are all passionate about keeping a very clean and cosy home, I love to be in a clean space and take care and pride in all the household tasks. I am volunteering at 'Resilience' the homeless shelter 2 days a week but would also love to do some part time childcare. I have always loved children, I find them endlessly fascinating and fun and feel I have a natural way with them due to my bubbly and loving personality. I am a very capable cook, I mainly cook healthy vegetarian meals for myself but have no strict restrictions and would be comfortable cooking anything. I worked at a board-game cafe in Bristol, I love boardgames but also drama games/drawing game/make believe of any kind! I am also currently trying to learn french, I speak a beginners level but am keen to improve during my stay here. I started off looking after my younger brother growing up when my parents were away, this would include making dinner and watching movies/playing games. I then started babysitting for family friends at around 16-18. I used to frequently babysit Milo and Finlo, two boys around the ages of 8 and 10. With Milo and Finlo I would make dinner and we would watch a movie or play boardgames. Later on at university I would occasionally care for a family friend's daughter named Zoe who at the time was 8 years old. My responsibilities with Zoe would be to look after her for the day, we would go to the museum or to the cinema then I would make dinner at her house, and oversee her doing her homework. Also making sure the house stayed tidy, doing some house hold tasks.
