Wren D.
I'm Wren! I’m originally from Toronto, and currently living in Montreal. I love working with kids and finding ways to bring creativity into everyday routines. I studied theatre and English literature, and in my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, drawing, acting, and doing arts and crafts projects. I’m outgoing, optimistic, and patient, and I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, confident, and free to be themselves.
I've been working with children since 2017, when I began volunteering as a Camp Counselor at the Children’s Urban Enrichment Studio in Etobicoke. From there, I became a trusted babysitter for several families in my Toronto neighbourhood, gaining hands-on experience with kids of all ages. Most recently, I worked as a Childcare Assistant at Lakeshore Community Childcare Centre from May 2023 to May 2024, where I supported early childhood educators and helped create a fun, nurturing environment for little ones to learn and grow. I love working with kids and bring a kind, creative, and patient energy to every family I work with! I'm also certified in CPR/First-Aid and can provide Certification and Police Background Check upon request.
I’ve always had a passion for the arts and storytelling, which led me to attend Etobicoke School of the Arts, where I specialized in theatre (2017 to 2021). I continued my education at Concordia University in Montreal, earning a degree in Performance Creation and English Literature (2021–2025). My studies has given me a deep understanding of creativity, communication, and empathy, skills that naturally extend into my work with children.
