Hello! My name is Shadlay :) I'm a 27 year old Haitian women born here in Montreal. I followed French curriculum (from France), where I graduated in Science. From there, I did a bachelor in psychoeducation, which I finished in 2017. I've worked with many clientele, mostly children, from age 2-3 to 14. Currently, I work with the elderly as a social service worker (which I enjoy thoroughly). I love outdoors, to read, and to dance. I am quite open minded and love trying new things. It is important to me as well to share such openness and teach empathy to children, to better understand differences with one another, all while respecting and being proud of who we are and where we come from. My experience: I've worked as a special educator at primary schools for 2 years. My main tasks were to provide assistance and support regarding emotional and academic needs. I worked as a camp monitor with children where I had to plan activities, provide assistance and help when needed to children from the age of 9 to 11. I've worked as a babysitter younger from the age of 16 to about 20, where I had to prepare the night routine, plan activities and provide the support asked of families with 2 children and less.
