Kaliyah L.
I’m Kaliyah and I’m 25 years old. I’ve always had a natural connection with children and truly enjoy spending time with them. I would describe myself as warm, patient, and dependable. I love to keep things fun and creative, whether that means dancing, cooking, doing arts and crafts, or just spending time outdoors.
I started babysitting my twin sisters when I was about ten years old, and since then, caring for kids has been a big part of my life. By thirteen I was volunteering at a local camp, and by sixteen I was hired as part of the staff. Since then I’ve worked with children of all ages through daycares, community programs, and camps like Christie Lake Kids and St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club. I’m currently studying Child and Youth Care in college and hope to become a forensic psychologist in the future. I also have a six-year-old brother who reminds me every day how important it is to be patient, understanding, and kind. I always do my best to make sure every child I care for feels safe, supported, and comfortable being themselves. Babysitting has never just been a job for me, it’s something I truly love doing. I do have an updated CPR I retook in July as well including for infants.
