Sara A.
I am currently a college student enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program, where I am developing strong knowledge and hands-on skills in child development, health and safety, inclusive practices, and play-based learning. My studies have helped me understand how to support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development in a safe and nurturing environment. I have experience working with children through school-based activities and volunteer opportunities, where I assisted with supervision, helped plan and lead group activities, supported classroom routines, and ensured a safe and positive environment for children. These experiences have strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized, and respond calmly and responsibly in different situations. I am a patient, caring, and dependable individual who is passionate about working with children and supporting their growth. I am comfortable caring for multiple children at once and I always focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment. I also have strong communication skills, which allow me to work well with children, families, and team members. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, participating in sports such as soccer, badminton, and frisbee, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy learning new skills and taking part in community and volunteer activities, which have helped me become more confident and responsible. Overall, I am committed to building a career in childcare and continuing to grow my skills so I can provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to children and families.
I do not have formal paid nanny experience at this time; however, I am currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program in college. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of child development, health and safety practices, and strategies to support children’s learning, social-emotional growth, and play-based learning. In addition, I have gained practical experience working with children through school and volunteer opportunities, where I assisted with supervision, supported classroom and group activities, and helped maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment. I am comfortable caring for multiple children at once and consistently demonstrate patience, responsibility, and attentiveness. If given the opportunity, I would prioritize creating a safe and nurturing environment, engaging children in meaningful and age-appropriate activities, supporting daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and rest, and maintaining clear and professional communication with parents regarding their child’s care and development.
