My name is Shaunay (Shin-Nay) and I've just moved to Toronto from Vancouver and I'm very excited to be here! I'm looking to help with families with kiddos who need some support. I know it takes a village to raise kids, and we don't live in villages anymore so I find it important to try to be of service if I can. I've worked a lot with kids in my past, and have always found ways to make the time I spend with them fun for both myself and them. I go back to school in January part-time at UofT but should be available evenings and weekends. Outside of work and school, I love to be outside as much as I can. I like to be by the water or in a park listening to the birds and the bugs. I go for long walks as often as I can, it's the best way to learn about a city! On a day off I'll pick a neighbourhood on a map and take transit to go for a long walk to see if there's any nice parks, ponds, or cute hidden shops I can share with my sister or friends. I can share them with you and your family as well! :)

I had worked as a nanny in high school and babysat for many different families aged 13 onwards. When I was 17 I worked at a daycare in a fitness studio until I was 18 when I moved to Rome, Italy to be an au pair. My older sister has 2 boys and I would look after them lots. And my foster parent had lots of different kids in and out of the house often, so I also have lots of experience with special needs children as well!
