Lexi G.
I'm Lexi! I'm currently entering my fourth year of Kinesiology at Dalhousie University. Originally from The Kingsway in Etobicoke, I graduated from Father John Redmond Highschool in 2022. I grew up as a competitive dancer, among other sports, and spent my summers playing golf and tennis. I also attended overnight camp in Algonquin Park for a month every summer where I exceled in sailing and canoeing! Throughout the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in a variety of roles including babysitter, camp leader, cashier, housekeeper, hostess and more. These positions have helped me develop strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking skills. Currently, I volunteer at Ronald McDonald House in Halifax, where I help maintain a welcoming and safe environment for families and children. I also serve as a student athletic trainer with the Dalhousie Football Club, gaining hands-on experience supporting athletes and applying my academic knowledge in real-world settings.I'm passionate about health, wellness, and helping others, and I'm always looking for new opportunities to grow and contribute in meaningful ways. I believe quality childcare is one of the most important supports a family can have. It provides children with a safe, nurturing environment to learn and grow while giving parents peace of mind. As someone who truly enjoys working with children, I understand the value of being a positive, dependable presence in their lives—and I take that responsibility seriously.
Many years caring for children as a local babysitter and in day camps. Playing games, teaching sports, swimming, arts and crafts, bed time routines, making snacks and meals, etc.
