I am Scarlet, a 17-year-old high school student from Mississauga. Despite my young age, caring for children has become a second nature to me as I have grown with 5 siblings and have worked with children often. For the past year, I honed my skills further by working with special needs children, something I find incredibly rewarding. I am more than capable of taking care of children ranging from newborns to those over 10 years old, and I'm prepared to handle four or more at once. I am looking for a live-out, part-time babysitting job and can start immediately. I'm pretty flexible with my schedule, available in the evenings between Tuesday to Friday, and free for the whole day every Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the primary role of babysitting, I am willing and able to perform other household tasks as well. This includes cooking, light housekeeping, running errands and grocery shopping, preparing meals for kids, laundry (both children's and family's), ironing children's clothes, helping with homework and adhering to special dietary rules. I can also assist with bathing and dressing children, walking the dog and pet care, supervising other household staff, organizing, and planning events, as well as cleaning the entire house. I stand out from other candidates thanks to my educational background, which includes First Aid and CPR Training. Being a part of a family with various pets, I am comfortable in an environment with animals. I’ve worked with children for almost two years as a swim instructor/lifeguard, plus I’ve worked as an overnight summer camp counselor! I have my standard first aid and CPR C, police vulnerable sectors check, as well as my babysitting certificate!
