I come from a very large African family where love and care for one another are the key values that we all uphold. I am therefore very well aware of the importance of a happy family. I take pride in care work because I know that at the end of the day, everyone would love for their families to be cared for. I am a very active and cheerful person full of energy that any child would like. I am patient and I possess good knowledge of interacting with all children. I am an all-round person with skills and hobbies in cooking, cleaning, and care work. I am a highly motivated and emotionally intelligent person with good communication skills, creativity, and flexibility, and as well possess the ability to create strong relationships with children and their families because of my extrovertive character. I have always demonstrated success in creating engaging activities to keep children entertained and engaged while teaching important life skills. In 2016, I started working with a charity organization called Joy for Children. We engaged mainly with children with disabilities and other vulnerable children. I learned a lot about children and hence enjoyed their company as many of the main activities in this project included painting, outdoor games, music, board games, assembling toys for recycled materials, reading, and writing among others. I acquired various skills in children's games and creative learning. I supported children with disabilities to experience a good playtime as my knowledge of their needs, limitations, and abilities expanded. I have relatively good knowledge of their special needs, emotional needs, nutritional needs, and medical requirements. And I know how delicate and yet normal and able human beings they are. I am currently volunteering at Jake's house and having a wonderful time with the children while increasing my knowledge of how the different community requirements, practices, and guidelines while working with children. Besides professional experience, I am a mother and an auntie of many. Oh, the kids love me because of my creativity and activeness when with them.
