Nawang G.
Hello! My name is Nawang . I am a dedicated and passionate individual with a strong background in both academic and extracurricular activities. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communications at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I am entering my third year. My educational journey began at Richview Collegiate Institute, where I graduated summa cum laude, earning the Ontario Scholars Award and the French Honours Award. My family plays a significant role in my life, and I have extensive experience caring for my younger sister, cousins, and family friends' children. These personal experiences have honed my skills in providing attentive and nurturing care, ensuring safety, and creating engaging activities for children. I am committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, and I bring enthusiasm, responsibility, and a caring attitude to every family I work with. I look forward to the opportunity to provide excellent childcare and support to your family.
I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for working with children. My journey in childcare began as a volunteer Camp Counsellor for the City of Toronto, gaining valuable hands-on experience in child supervision and activity planning. Additionally when I moved to Mississauga, I used that experience and became a Camp Counsellor for the City of Mississauga's March Break Camp, where I created engaging activities and ensured a safe, fun environment for all participants and was responsible for over 10 campers. Beyond my formal roles, I have extensive personal experience caring for children. I have a younger sister whom I regularly look after, providing me with daily insights into the needs and dynamics of childcare. Furthermore, I have babysat my cousins and family friends' children, further honing my skills in providing attentive, compassionate, and responsible care. I am committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety, and supporting their growth and development through creative and interactive activities.
I have a strong academic background, beginning with my high school education at Richview Collegiate Institute. I graduated summa cum laude, receiving the Ontario Scholars Award for outstanding academic achievement. Currently, I am advancing my education in the field of Professional Communications at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I am entering my third year. My studies focus on developing effective communication skills, both written and verbal, which are essential for creating positive and engaging interactions with children and their families.
