I am a mother of a 7-year-old boy named Dj, we are currently learning ASL together. My hobbies/interest are playing games, baking, crocheting, and doing outside activities (I.e. hiking, walking, bike riding, etc.). I believe children need their own space to grow and be able to make mistakes and learn from them. I love children because they make you realize that not everything is easy but when understanding and learning through your mistakes make you feel better as a person. I have looked after all ages. Throughout my life, I have learned how to care for children through my mom. My mother has been a childcare worker for more than 20 years. I have attended the majority of her meetings with other child care workers and I have always loved the activities and learned so much. I connected with all the children that my mom cared for and I got to know all of them. In the past, I have prepared freshly cooked meals, played games/ art and crafts, watched movies, helped with homework, and more. I graduated high school with good grades. I went to college for a year studying to become a paralegal but took a year off to pay off school.

My mother is a home care worker and has been for over 20 years. I have been apart of many children lives and love to be able to be apart of their lives. I love to personally get to know children and be able to connect with them through things that they like. I love sports, art and crafts, baking and much more. I have two brothers and a sister. My son is currently 7 years old and I always have to match his energy but I don't mind.
