Rya W.
I’m Rya! I recently moved to Milton with my boyfriend and our two cats, Rory and Niko. After taking a year off after graduating high school to figure out what I wanted to do, I moved to Oakville and received a diploma in journalism during my time there I took a course in public relations and knew this would be the right path for me. I went on to graduate from Humber College with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and now I’m a corporate communications and marketing assistant for a school board here in Ontario. Whether it’s laying on the beach, hiking through the woods, walking around the neighbourhood or sitting on my patio with a good cup of coffee, if the weathers nice you can find me outside. Physical activity and mental health and wellness activities like meditation and gratitude exercises are important to me. I have a lot of kids my life and come from a big family so I’ve always been the go-to babysitter. I’m often told by my parent friends that I should work with kids because I have the same captivating energy and sing-song voice as Ms. Rachel, if you know, you know. I’m looking to work part-time with a family who needs a helping hand. My schedule can be flexible and I’m willing to work something out if needs differ or change. If you think I’d be a good fit for your family I’d love to meet and get to know each-other better!
I'm a caring and reliable person with hands-on experience caring for 2–3 children at a time, as well as working within a school setting surrounded by kids of all ages, abilities, and personalities. I’m comfortable managing busy routines and love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I’m happy to help with light housekeeping during quiet moments and can assist with school pickups, drop-offs, or outings—I have my own car. I’m currently looking for part-time work and would love to support a family that needs a helping hand and a caring presence with dependable and thoughtful care.
