My name is Stefany, Colombian, 35 years old. I am a student at Fanshawe College in London, ON. In 2007, I was an Au Pair (nanny) in Massachusetts, United States for one year. I lived with an American family who had two boys aged 7 and 11 at that time. That Au Pair program in the US included training sessions in First Aid and childcare. Also, to become eligible to be an Au Pair in the US, I had to prove minimum 200 hours of previous childcare experience.
My job as an Au Pair in the US was to drive the boys to/from school, prepare meals for them, help them do homework, take them to their after-school activities, play with them, and ensure their parents’ requirements were satisfied. In addition, the family had two dogs and two cats. I was also happy to help walk and feed their dogs and play with their cats. I am still in close contact with that American family, and they would be happy to share their opinion, if requested, about myself and the quality of the childcare service I provided to them for one year.
I can speak English fluently. I can also speak Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese as I lived in Shanghai, China for 11 years. My dog and I moved to Canada in December last year. I still do not have a Canadian driver’s license. Therefore, I do not have a car yet. I could go to any place in London that has a bus station nearby (max. 20 minutes by foot between your place and a bus station). I live in Northwest London, close to Fanshawe Park Rd W & Wonderland Rd N, also, not far from Fanshawe Park Rd W & Hyde Park Rd.
I am available to start working on May 2nd. I will be available to work on the following schedule: Mon all day, Tue after 1pm, Wed after 11am, Thu 7am-2pm, Fri 7am-2pm, Sat all day, Sun all day. I will be available to work in the evenings/nights, or overnight.
