My name is Christy, a mature student from Medicine Hat. I am currently undertaking a child and youth diploma, with a focus on child psychology. My experience spans over four years, in which I have worked with individuals from a range of different backgrounds. This includes a year-long tenure at McMan, alongside supporting work at the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club. A lover of people and animals, I currently reside in Riverside with my two dogs, mother, boyfriend, and brother. My passions extend beyond family and film, as I am keen on keeping fit at the gym as well as contributing to the community through volunteering and raising money where proceeds are necessary. What sets me apart from other child caregivers is my ability and willingness to care for children with disabilities. I can cater to a variety of dietary requirements, from vegetarian to kosher, to lactose intolerance, and more. Additionally, I'm not limited to caring for the little ones only. I will also run errands, do grocery shopping, and manage your laundry needs. Given my culinary skills, I'm more than ready to whip up a meal for the kids and help with their homework. And at the end of the day, rest assured your kitchen will be as tidy as ever, if not more. As a college student who has undergone First Aid and CPR training, I am equipped with essential safety measures and can offer knowledgeable care for your children. I can comfortably work with up to three children, ranging from newborns to ten years and above. Given my availability, I would be open to babysitting duties on Wednesdays (morning, mid-day, and evening), Friday evenings to nights, and Sunday mornings to mid-day. I am set to start on the 26th of October 2025 with a preference for a live-out, part-time babysitting arrangement. I can also offer virtual babysitting and specialized needs assistance.
