Yasania R.
My name is Yasania known as "Yassie", and I am a caring, patient, and responsible individual with several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I come from a close-knit, supportive Christian family, which has shaped my values of kindness, respect, and strong communication. Family is very important to me, and it shows in the way I care for children—with warmth, consistency, and genuine attention. I have extensive hands-on childcare experience through my church, where I have worked with children from ages 1 to 16. I assist with Sunday School, help prepare meals and snacks, and support children during activities, lessons, and group play. I also help prepare children for our Christmas choral services, guiding them in recitations, singing, dance routines, sign language, and stage preparation. In the summer, I volunteer at Vacation Bible School, where I help teach lessons, lead crafts and games, and supervise larger groups of children. These experiences have given me strong skills in teaching, supervision, creativity, patience, and behavior management, and I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and express themselves. Outside of childcare, I enjoy music, singing, creative activities, reading, and helping with community events. I also love being organized, planning activities, and creating fun and educational moments for kids. I value safety, positivity, and communication, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel supported and encouraged. Overall, I am dependable, energetic, and passionate about working with children. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience, compassion, and enthusiasm to your family as a nanny.
I have extensive volunteer experience working with children through my church and community programs. At my church, I assist regularly with Sunday School, where I help supervise and teach children ranging from ages 1 to 16. My responsibilities include planning and leading activities, helping with lessons, guiding group discussions, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for every child. In addition to classroom support, I help prepare meals and snacks for the children, making sure dietary needs are considered and that mealtimes run smoothly. I work closely with other volunteers and teachers to coordinate schedules and provide organized, dependable care. I also assist with the children’s preparation for the annual Christmas choral service, which includes coaching them in recitations, singing, dance routines, sign language performances, and stage presence. This requires patience, creativity, and strong communication skills while working with children of different ages and abilities. During the summer, I volunteer at our church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) or vocational programs, helping teach lessons, lead crafts and games, manage groups of children, and support them throughout various activities. This experience has strengthened my ability to handle larger groups, multitask, and create engaging learning environments. Through these roles, I have gained hands-on experience with children from toddlers to teenagers, building strong skills in supervision, teaching, behavior management, communication, and child safety. My childcare experience has taught me to be patient, reliable, organized, and nurturing in all interactions with children
