I am a Filipina with 3 gifted children. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education. I have been a tutor in the Philippines for Elementary grade every Sunday only. I am an Open-work permit holder. Before going here to Canada last December 11, 2023, I had ongoing training as a Personal Support Worker in the Philippines from Pinoy Wish Training Center, I gained hands-on and theory of how PSW works. During my training as PSW, I worked part-time as a Home Support worker from May to November 2023. I have also finished a Caregiving NCII training in the Philippines from TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority), and I have a CPR & Basic First Aid certificate from the American Emergency Education Association. Then, I completed my training in the Canadian Red Cross for CPR/AED Level C on April 27, 2024. Afterward, I finished the Spiritual Care Volunteer Education program from Scarborough Health Network, Toronto on June 29, 2024, this program enhanced my ability to identify emotions, best practices in listening skills, and cultural sensitivity. I am an active volunteer in SHN and SE Foundation. Having acquired the ability to remain calm during challenging situations and having a concern for others, I’m confident that I’ll be able to provide caring support while in this role.
