Sarah N.
My name is Sarah Sue-Ann , I am 20 years old and I live with my beautiful mother, father, little sister, and a super cute dog. I am in my third year at Queens University. I am a super outgoing, energetic, and responsible girl. Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to become a teacher, and have worked my whole life so far to be able to achieve that goal. My hobbies include sports, baking, cooking, adventures, music, art. I love to do anything that could be new and interesting and love to set new goals to be able to achieve and aim for. For the nanny and babysitting aspect... I love to contribute to a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which children thrive and develop. I like to keep the children's areas neat and tidy and do the children's laundry. As well as transport children to and from activities, grocery shops for the children, and plans the children's daily schedule. I can promise you I am the right fit for your family. With my experience in childcare, and my love for children I can confidently say you won't get anyone better than myself.
At 21 years old, my journey into childcare and teaching began early. From the age of 10, I knew this was my calling. By 11, I started babysitting for families in my neighborhood, and over the past decade, I've provided care for over 20 families with children ranging from 6 months to 15 years old. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in education at Queen's University, with a clear goal of becoming a teacher. Additionally, I am completing my Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree at Algonquin College, further deepening my knowledge and skills in early childhood development. My hands-on experience includes running numerous summer camps, where I organized engaging games and activities over multiple weeks. Additionally, I completed a verified educational co-op as a student teacher at a local school, further solidifying my practical skills. My experience also includes a summer-long commitment over the last three summers as a daycare worker, I currently work as a full-time ECE for a daycare in my city. My love for children and dedication to their growth and development is at the heart of everything I do. Each day, I am inspired by the curiosity, creativity, and potential of the young learners in my care. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages each child to thrive. My role allows me to combine my experience and enthusiasm, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. Working at Love n' Learn Daycare is more than just a job—it's a fulfillment of my lifelong commitment to early childhood education.
As said previously, I am currently at Queens University working towards an undergraduate in a Bachelor of Arts minoring in sociology, then going to teachers college to become a teacher. I have worked at two daycares where I have been in ECA positions. I also go to Algonquin College for my ECE degree.
