I'm Katie, an Early Childhood Educator based in Maple Ridge, BC. I've accumulated over 5 years of diverse childcare experience, for children across all age groups. My approach centers around fostering a warm and inclusive environment where every child feels cherished and important. I am a believer in the effectiveness of play-based learning. Creating fun activities with thoughtful intent to the varied interests and abilities of all children. I love creating engaging sensory bins, process-based art projects, and activities to promote child development. Additionally, I enjoy spending time outdoors, appreciating its role in nurturing a child's sense of adventure and exploration. I also have experience working with children of different diverse needs. My availability spans across most weekdays. I could be available for occasional babysitting through evenings and weekends as well! I've completed Childcare First Aid with CPR and AED Training, and graduated from College and High School. I'm proficient in English and a Canadian citizen with a valid CRC.
