I have lived in London for 5 years, I moved here with my two kids after I completed my 5 year military contract in Trenton, ON. I was an aircraft mechanic for 12 years and my career came to a halt after a motorcycle accident. I had my own daycare in Trenton for a couple years until I moved to London. I enjoyed it very much and have always enjoyed my time in a care-taking role. My children are 18 and 15 now so my time is freed up. I have my own cleaning business on the side also which I enjoy. I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews which I care for on a regular basis also, which keep me happily in London. I am known for always coming up with new games or crafts, new recipes, and spontaneous fun outings. I also teach them music lessons. I know sign language as I grew up with deaf family, and I also know a little Slovakian. I have played piano for 20 years and I also enjoy teaching lessons in my free time. My hobbies include anything outdoors. sports, swimming, hiking, sewing/knitting, scrapbooking, exploring, animals, children, crafts, music and cooking to name a few. I am energetic, meticulously clean, strong and healthy and I am available for any shift, evenings and weekends included. I have my own vehicle and clean police/driving record. I aim to make children feel as comfortable as possible with me, so they know they can ask me anything and I will treat them with the same respect I would treat any adult with. I have always been nutrition-conscious with myself, my children, and the children I have cared for. I try to involve the children in the meal-prepping to provide many learning points and also to show them that healthy eating can be fun, e. g. making faces out of food, making up rhymes or stories. I am very organized and try to upkeep the household as my day goes on, same when I work in the kitchen. I teach safety first rules with various activities throughout the week to incorporate a foundation that is safe for everyone, especially hand-washing and no hands in mouth/on objects (except for teething babies obviously). I was with WeeWatch a few years ago before I decided to branch out into my own home daycare which lasted until I had to close it and relocate to London. References available upon request.

I completed high school and joined the Air Force when I was 20 years old. I studied 2 years at the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace and Technological Engineering to become an aircraft mechanic. It was a great career that I stuck with, and has now come to an end. I look forward to starting the next chapter of my working life helping to enrich others' lives.
